Question: How do I know which color of foundation I should choose?

Answer: Choose a foundation that suits your skin type or shows the results you want. Smashit Foundation is noncomedogenic (does not clog pores) and is therefore suitable for most skin types. Always test the shade on the jawbone and preferably in daylight. You will quickly see if the color is correct if trying on the cheek or neck. The nuance should be as close to your skin tone as possible. When you see the least difference between your foundation and skin tone, preferably none at all - then it is correct. If you choose too dark shade, it can easily look dirty. Smashit Foundation uses the skin's own pigment and adapts well because the pigments are of the type that lets through some of the skin's own nuance. Your skin tone changes with the season, you should have a new foundation for every season or a foundation in a darker or lighter shade to blend your foundation with. It can be difficult to directly see what skin tone you have, the most common tone for example in the Nordic countries is yellow. While pink is common and those that have a pink complexion becomes very bright light in the winter and also easy to become a bit red when we burn ourselves in the sun. Olive is not so common in Scandinavia, but if you have ancestry from the Mediterranean, you can have a skin tone with shades of olive. Dark skin tones can have many different shades, most of Smashit Cosmetics darkest shades (from Caramel and up) is going in the red direction to avoid a light gray tone upon application when mixed with the skin tone. Question: What can i do to make my eye shadow to stay longer?

Answer: Make sure you have a good base before applying eye makeup. The eye shadow stick better if you apply a primer as a base for your powder eye shadow. When do, the results will last longer and you avoid that the shadow settles in the folds of the eyelid.
